Emcee: Sheri Shaw,
Sheri N. Shaw serves in the role of Assistant Dean for Student Success and Academic Advising for the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW). Additionally, Sheri serves as a board member for the Willie Stargell Foundation and Wilma Leadership Advisory Board as well as the African American Business Council co-chair for the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce. As a kidney donor (July 2001), Sheri works diligently to educate others and share her story on the impact of organ donation and the familial and health impacts of asthma and diabetes.  Sheri also manages a small business, sherinicole.co, which focuses on professional coaching, academic consultations, and serves as the hub for her syndicated podcast, Black Woman Working.
